In this Childcare First Aid course, you will learn how to identify illness or injury, access emergency services, safely provide first aid treatment using action plans, equipment, and resources, for CPR, defibrillation, administering an autoinjector for anaphylaxis, administering asthma medication, immobilisation for envenomation, fractures, dislocations, sprains, and strains, for bleeding and shock and other conditions. You will learn basic anatomy, physiology, and the differences between adults, children, and infants relating to CPR, managing an infant or child with an acute illness, or who requires an immediate ambulance response, and conveying incident details to parents, caregivers, and emergency services in line with the Australian Resuscitation Council guidelines. You will get HLTAID012 Provide First Aid in an Education and Care Setting certificate the same day.

This is a blended Childcare First Aid course Perth with online self-study and face-to-face training.
Prior to face-to-face study, students are required to complete e-learning. On average it takes around 4 hours for online study.
In-person training includes hands-on practice with mannequins and takes 2 hours.

This course meets Australian Resuscitation Council (ARC) guidelines:
1.Book a class using our online Booking Calendar.
For individuals, choose option 1. We run classes most Saturday mornings
For childcare centers or schools, choose option 2, 3, or 4 based on your group size.
2.Enrollment: Receive your enrollment invitation within 24 hours of booking.
3.Payment: We’ll send an invoice with convenient payment options.
4.Online Theory: Complete the online component through our user-friendly Training Desk platform.
5.In-Person Training: We’ll come to your location. The practical part of the course takes approximately 120 minutes.
